Turin officially announced that one of its players had been infected with the Coronavirus

Turin has caused a new obstacle that could threaten the return of Serie A after it was announced that one of its players had been infected with the Coronavirus.

Italian clubs were allowed to return to training individually this week, while maintaining the rules of social distance, in preparation for the return of the league competition.

Before the exercises were resumed, all players and staff underwent a medical examination to reveal whether one of them had the epidemic.

A new obstacle threatens the return of the Italian League:

Turin club issued an official statement, through which it confirmed the positiveness of one of the samples, and that one of his players was infected with Coronavirus. But he did not mention the player's name.

The text of the statement posted by the club through his account on the social networking site Twitter: "After the initial medical examination, one of the players showed positive results for the Coronavirus."

This is the first real test of the medical protocol for the resumption of the Italian League 2019/2020, and Italy will try to work on the same protocol approved by the German government, which would isolate the player or employee with the disease.
